December 15, 2014 - DTI Group to Provide Video Surveillance Systems for Two Tram Projects in Poland

DTI Group Ltd (ASX: DTI) ("DTI”) is pleased to advise the receipt of two orders for tram projects in Poland.

The first project includes an order for 30 video surveillance systems by DTI’s Polish partners, DTI Polska Sp. z o.o. and R&G Plus Sp. z o.o, for delivery to MPK - Łodź Sp. z o.o., the operator of the trams in Łodź Poland. MPK - Łodź operates almost 500 trams on 22 lines in addition to over 400 buses.

The second project includes an order for 16 video surveillance systems by the Polish railway vehicle manufacturer and refurbishment company, Modertrans Poznań Sp. z o.o. for delivery to ZKM Gdańsk Sp. z o.o., the operator of the trams in Gdańsk, Poland. ZKM Gdańsk operates over 200 trams on 11 lines covering a total length of 116 kilometres. This is the second order for ZKM Gdańsk following an initial order received by DTI in July 2014.

Each of the trams will be equipped with DTI's latest hybrid Mobile Digital Recorder (MDR5M), featuring between six and seven high resolution megapixel IP cameras plus two forward-facing high resolution megapixel IP cameras and between two and five external side-view megapixel IP cameras. The MDR5M will be fitted with an internal 4TB hard drive and a quick removable 2TB hard drive plus dual frequency WiFi and 3/4G communications. A separate touch screen will allow the driver to view internal and external camera views from the driver’s cabin.

The solution also includes DTI's GPS-based vehicle location system, wireless data communications infrastructure, and DTI's fleet management software suite. DTI's wireless infrastructure and comprehensive back-end CCTV management system will centralise and coordinate the tram CCTV network and allow video evidence to be recovered from trams through an on-line automated CCTV 'booking' system providing significant benefits through the easy management of equipment, video retrieval and video storage. The solution also enables the 3G based technology to provide live reporting and viewing from the tram to a central control station.

These orders for projects in Poland further build on DTI's expansion into Poland and throughout Europe by providing DTI’s leading advanced transit surveillance solutions and services.

Andrzej Rogala, CEO for DTI Polska in Poland, said: “We are pleased to work with R&G Plus, MPK Łodź, Modertrans PoznaÅ„, and ZKM GdaÅ„sk on these tram projects. The projects will provide excellent reference sites and we will look forward to further growth in the region plus exploring further opportunities with these customers in the future.”
