Founded in 1986 in Perth Western Australia, the company has rapidly expanded its activities internationally with projects covering Australia, North America, and the United Kingdom.

In 2003, DTI was ranked number one as Australia's fastest growing Technology Company in accordance with the annual Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu Technology Fast 50 programme and in the same year was ranked in the top 10 across the Asia Pacific region.

Core technology development and system design activities are undertaken from the company's Perth office and are complimented through a strategic research partnership with Western Australia's Curtin University of Technology. (refer press release)

  • Supply, installation and support of a city-wide integrated bus CCTV solution totalling 340 buses for the metro bus network in Canberra Australia.

  • Design and development of the next generation GE MobileView IV, the latest addition to GE's highly successful MobileView product range. GE Security is the US's largest transit surveillance provider with more than 14,000 MobileView systems installed in transit agencies across the nation.

  • Supply of 750 next generation MobileView IV units to GE.

  • Supply and installation since 2001 of over 650 integrated digital CCTV and vehicle location systems to the bus network in Perth Australia.

  • Supply, installation and support of a city-wide integrated bus CCTV solution totalling 700 buses for the metro bus network in Adelaide Australia.

  • Supply and operation of a centralised surveillance network incorporating wireless communications, fleet management, helpdesk and support call-centre across Perth, Australia's, route buses.

  • Supply of integrated CCTV and vehicle tracking systems for the bus fleet in Darwin, Australia.

  • Provision of integrated CCTV and Digital Media Advertising to route buses in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

  • Design, manufacture and supply of an integrated CCTV, passenger information, audio communication, message announcement and driver interface system to the metro rail network in Perth Australia.
